Adventures of another twenty-something expat in Kyoto, trying to decipher Kansai ben and eating all of the food.
Dinner with cute bartender = success! We went to this really nice katsu restaurant. I still have yet to figure out how to eat tonkatsu with chopsticks without looking like an idiot, but you know, baby steps. We ended up talking til the place closed at 10 and then made fun of the crazy food (unrefrigerated hamburger bread, anyone?) at the konbini before I went back to my apatoh. That sounds really lame. For some reason my day just isn’t complete unless I go to a konbini.
I did do some temples on my day off yesterday, but I’m too sleepy (I’m turning into an old lady ._.) to sort through them right now! Tomorrow!
Also deciding if I should risk getting lost in Osaka trying to find Ikea tomorrow.
